TRANSNATIONAL CHARTER OF SOCIAL COMMITMENT

The pandemic crisis has generated new criticalities and dramatically exacerbated existing ones. The resulting effects have affected European society in all its components and without geographical distinctions. The need to face an unexpected challenge of a global nature requires us to define new paradigms of social commitment that are shared by all components of the community. We third sector organizations / bodies, associations, representatives of institutions, private bodies from all over Europe
AWARE THAT
- Institutions play a fundamental role in connecting the components of society;
- The world of volunteering contains skills and professionalism that make it an engine of growth and development;
- Businesses perform important social responsibility functions;
- Knowledge represents the most important intangible heritage in the reconstruction phase that awaits us;
- Young people are the category at risk of the current crisis and, at the same time, the most important resource for overcoming it;
- Local and global are the two goals of a single bidirectional path;
WE ADHERIT TO THE TRANSNATIONAL CHARTER OF SOCIAL COMMITMENT

Commitment to knowledge
We are committed to sharing and transmitting our knowledge to other members of the community, through specific initiatives. We will also support the constant pursuit of knowledge by all stakeholders.
Commitment to the good will
We are committed to carrying out activities to combat resignation, pessimism, mistrust and anything else that contributes to the marginalization of individuals;
Commitment to digital culture
Through our activities, we are committed to promoting a conscious, responsible and proactive use of the network and its applications that exploits its infinite potential for research and dissemination of knowledge and information. This awareness must necessarily include full recognition of the value of digital work.
Commitment to good politics
We are committed to raising awareness among the stakeholders of our community on the need to implement and finance innovative policies of social inclusion, active participation, cultural and employment of young people;
Commitment to active citizenship
We are committed to removing obstacles that prevent individuals from fully exercising active citizenship.
Commitment to new cooperation
We are committed to making our international partnerships available to other local entities. In this way we intend to encourage the creation of networks and projects aimed at reducing the distance between the regions of Europe and the world.
Commitment to a new Europe
We are committed in our respective fields to support the construction of a united, cohesive and inclusive Europe.
We, the undersigned, also undertake to contribute to the drafting of the annual social report of the Charter which will give an account of its effectiveness and dissemination. Our initiatives related to it will be accompanied by the use of a letter “C” which will highlight the link with the Charter.
